Abstract: Hereditary angioedema (HAE) is a rare genetic disorder, typically managed with on-demand medications during acute attacks. Clinical trials and real-world studies have demonstrated the efficacy and safety of icatibant in treating acute HAE attacks. This article aims to summarize research findings on icatibant in HAE treatment, providing a reference for its clinical application.
